Weekday/Weeknight Rideouts?
Afternoon SELKENT.
Do any of you lot get together weekdays or weeknights for rideouts? I have never used the bike solely for pleasure, just the usual 5 day a week slog from Dartford-Greenwich and would love to. Was supposed to be going out tonight but sadly something come up and it is not to be. If you do can I come along? |

Sadly the price of fuel has stopped me doing such activities. I used to go out at least once a week, but not at the moment.

Re: Weekday/Weeknight Rideouts?
, most days I'll kill a tank or two of juice just for fun, sometimes ending up at a meet and sometimes not, never have a hard and fast plan, it more a "as the mood takes me" kind of thing, But Ian's not wrong it's getting expensive this riding lark, spent £135 on petrol since friday already
Give me a shout when you're going out and I'll see what I'm up to, you never know Cheers Mark.

Re: Weekday/Weeknight Rideouts?
When I go out on my own I normally pick a destination, have a look at google maps and find all the B-roads heading there from mine then ride. That way you get lost and find some proper gems of little roads. Plenty of nice roads heading out from dartford if you look closely...

Re: Weekday/Weeknight Rideouts?
Thanks all, next time I have some time off I'll be dropping a few PM's, it sounds a bit strange but I don't really have a clue how to drive the bike for fun or where to so tagging along with one of you experienced lot would be quality.

Re: Weekday/Weeknight Rideouts?
Mary chest is on the slip road that heads from bluewater onto the A2 coastbound.
Oakdene is on the A20 at the bottom of wrotham hill just before the roundabout that joins it with the M26. HTH |
