Default Reliable paint matching

Im in need of some spray paint to do my belly pan and would like to know if anyone is able to recommend a paint supplier that they've actually used where the paint match is good.

I took a punt on this kit off ebay

Unfortuatley the colour was more of a burgundy than a candy red hence the kit is going back for a refund.

Dont expect it to be an exact match but somewhere close at least would be nice.

Any other suggestions?

you might have used too heavy a "base/mid" coat.

you could try https://www.autopaint-pro.co.uk/suzu...paint-95-c.asp

The lad had a Fiesta where on a wing respray, the body shop used a gold base coat instead of silver, in certain light conditions it stuck out a mile.
Tried these once and it was a good match then

Had a wing resprayed on our Silver car - great match new but noticeably different 12 years later.

If I understood my next door neighbour correctly a good body shop can use a spectrometer to analyse the correct mix of paint and then load a can for you. Ex body shop owner

I had a look at this site, they have my paint code but i believe its a 2 stage paint and the only seem to have one base coat listed. I've emailed them for more info to see what they come back with

I've used RS paints many years ago.
