I remember reading a serious article a while back where one of the money saving suggestions was to rent hats instead of buying them for weddings. Highlights just how detached from financial reality a lot of people out there really are.

I may need to close down the East wing and the upper floors of Biggles mansions. Let go some staff too!

Easy to save energy......Divorce. Except I am too tight for that option.

It is cold in here. turn on the heating, oh its warm, open a window.....No put on a jumper. Even daughter no 1 complains about her putting the heating on.

But, 4 wash loads/day (She is bored and does the grandkids dobie) plus of course the drier after even though the lines are empty.

My supplier has gone bust and I have been moved to British gas, god knows what my new bills will be, I was paying about £140 a month!
