Hello all
I'm doing the longmynd hike in October. 50 miles in 24 hours. Can any walking types recommend me some plasters- I've heard you can get some that act as a 'second skin'. Has anyone used them before? I think i might be needing some.. cheers mary |

Compeed are the best i have come across. As for walking 50 miles in any amount of time...use your bike

Whatever plaster you get use Sudocrem underneath it for superb skin healing and antiseptic properties
Worked a treat on my leg after my accident, concrete scooped a hole roughly a centimetre deep from the top of my thigh where the leathers split

Thanks for the advice guys - i think it'll come in really useful.
With respect to taking a bike, an incredulous friend has offered me a lift instead but i think it migth defeat the point a bit! I'll give a detailed report on my feet condition after i've done it... thanks again mary |
