i use bikesure.

unlike other companies my insurance goes down every year and no fighting trying to get a better deal. ok so i could get it cheeper if i looked around but my bike is silly modded so not worth the hassle. i have had a theft claim with them and they were great.

I just insured mine with Bennetts for £121. First time with them, no idea if they are good, bad or ugly, but price seemed fair as it is just over 5 years since I rode a bike so they started me off at zero NCB total excess £200. I'm 62.

Ok, thanks everyone. Going to give Bennett a ring. MCE just have far too many bad reviews!

I'm with Bennets this year, seemed the cheapest, ive changed bike twice though since taking the policy and they charged me £32 admin fee both times

probably a norm these days with all companies but just a heads up

Hastings screwed me by failing to auto renew. I only found out when I got a nasty letter from the DVLA about having no insurance. I called them and they said whoops our fault, we cancelled the auto renew but have no notification from you to do so!

They renewed immediately at slightly reduced price and I asked what would have happened in a claim or prosecution for no insurance and they say they would have covered me as they were at fault. But I doubt it as I guess they would argue that as I had not been issued with a certificate. I should have checked.

Apart from TamSV - who is a gent.

I guess they are all a bit iffy. There is no customer value on anything these days.
