No that bit the dust some time ago hence new cable and full clutch which has worked well. I'll keep at it i must be overlooking something. Thanks for trying

Yeh. Distract yourself and maybe if you can get trusted M8 as a 2nd opinion to spot something

Check the WSM Troubleshooting sections as even I've done that and found something I didn't remember :O

Hahahahahah very close to it to be fair, thanks for distraction

Ive done this adjustment, cables and clutch plates etc loads of times for others with no problems but maybe my bike wants a few days off lol

Maybe a longshot Geo but the only other variable that changed was the oil. Same type as before? What's the level?
You could try losing a little bit of oil or dropping it to minimum on the gauge, see if that makes any difference before you decide to rip the clutch apart.

Does the clutch pushrod move freely? You'll struggle to push it in against the clutch springs but you can pull it out.

Same oil 2/3 full but worth a shot i'll take it down to low. Oil was changed because it had fuel in it, which my bike does now and then if i leave it standing for months.

It moves freely as far as i can tell, it also turns or spins a little sometimes.


Going to have another look today if it stays dry and i get a bit of time. I'll also take my protractor to check this magical 80-85 degree angle.
