Default The 2009 Bike buying thread

So here it is - don't say you weren't warned -

the Mid-Bike-Crisis.....

Decisions decisions..... to swap the SV or Not swap the SV.... I'm stuck in a loop looking at 600s.... but what do I really want one?

(Cue Music)

and Carbs or Fuel injection?

(Cue Music)

and Suzuki or Yamaha? (or Honda or Kawasaki)??

(Cue Music)

Criteria:
1) Not noticeably more lardy/tall than the SV
2) Not one of the Track orientated seat like a plank variety
4) Different colour to Jester's CBR (Just because)
5) There is no number 3

So far... so pointless...

and then there's the poll....

Is anything you are suggesting going to be wildly different to an SV? When I upgrade, it will be different at least!

ZX7R - I'm not biased at all of course

No, I reckon a ZX6 would be a really good bike, with a bit more character than a CBR. I'd go for a 99 model or something of that vintage, but then I like carbs. I think the later ones look at bit wierd with that massive intake.
