You can get permanent repair kits that don't involve removing hte tyre at all... The one I'v got from HG claims so anyway. Never had to use it, and I'm not sure I'd trust it either...

Got Ultraseal in the tyres now as well, never noticed it being in there (bet Alvins will when the rear gives up the ghost ) but the protection from punctures is a hufge reassurance.

Yay - mended

Tiddly-little flat-head nail removed and puncture mended for £25.

Just think, if it had been an Avon it would have been replaced foc under the unique road hazard warranty.
