Default TRIUMPHS!!!!!

ok two things:

The Daytona has an amazing engine squeezed into one of the worst riding positions I have EVER experienced.

and

The Speed Triple is an amazing bike, but works much MUCH better when you dont borrow the demo bike and drop it in front of your house

BUT

if I can wangle it, I shall probably be buying this

XX-link dead-XX

of course with new Front brake lever, rear brake lever, clutch cover, right indicator and gear box cover :P

Edit: link removed, bike no longer on used bike list due to addition of cash

link took a while to get working but fixed now

nah, already paid for the damage, but if I buy it, that effectively becomes my deposit

They actually gave me a quite impressive deal:

£2300 for Daisy, trade price for the replacement parts and no labour costs. Aside from the brake levers, the other three are non-essential (a bit of rub down and some black hammerite will sort them the damage). I find out on monday what the trade costs come to and decide then

Its bloody amazing, I was worried about the buidl quality after reading the various EMAP publications, but it seems bullet proof. I was most impressed by how little damage it sustained when I dropped it for a start

but, gravity aside, effortless clutch, stable suspension, easy and seemingly infinite drive and if you get gear happy, lunatic speed is far FAR too easy

and it suits NOT having a screen, makes you smile more

Very nice indeed. Nothing needs doing IMO. Looks ace , sounds ace even on standard cans and apparently goes ok

Enjoy.

Cheers

Great bikes... But they're too good, where's the fun in that!
