Default Sportsbikeshop visit

My BSA Goldstar 650 owning friend suggested riding to Sportsbikeshop for "a look" (we have been there before). It proved expensive. I didn't have to buy a new helmet, but I did, a Shoei NXR2.

My first Shoei - I have a couple of Arai, an Axces3 which I like but is about 7 years old and a Chaser X which I don't but is newer and hardly used (headache after 30 mins and difficulty opening visor with gloves on).
From Kirton we rode on to Woodhall Spa for coffee/cake (his turn to pay). A great day for riding, sunny and warmer than the weekend possibly the last for a few days apparently.

I've been to their site in Milton Keynes, but as it was effing freezing in late December I went in the car. It is quite a small unit on a retail park but even so I decided "looking round" would be an even more expensive thing to do so went straight to the front desk and asked for the boots I'd ordered. Thankfully they fitted, so paid for them and left, looking at the floor and not the rows of new jackets, which were calling to me, but I don't really need...
