Default Can't give up?(riding bikes)

My brother.

He gave up and sold his Duc. Couple of weeks later bought a blade, then he gave up again and bought a gsxr750. Which went about 2 months ago.

First week of sun shinning and he phones me for my opinion of the 636 Kwak.

Is it really in the blood and you will never get the bug out once it has infected you?. I gave up for 20 years and the bug ressurected eventually.

I think your right. I used to feel almost ill when bikes came ripping past me in the car or anywhere. It used to drive Mrs Ratty mad until she bought me my old SV for Christmas a few years back after 15 years in the darkness. I get withdrawal symptoms if I’ve not been out on the bike for a while and nearly dissolved my 6 ½ by riding through the winter when there are three cars in the family!!!! Just the short thrash into work tonight makes it almost worthwhile being here on a Friday night and a 06:30 urban assault on near dead roads to look forward to this morning. Ride on.

Alan

Bites like a hungry pit bull. Biking is a bit like malaria...in the blood, comes and goes but you can never get rid of it. Might even kill ya.
I sold my bike and the sunny weather is painful and the scream of a mo'sickle is hard on the soul.

It's definitely in the blood; the 14 year biking wilderness disappeared as soon as I had a test ride a few months ago. In a similar way to Alan I used to so envy bikers ripping past me in a car, and it just feels so good to be back on two wheels again

Ive lasted 4 weeks and its driving me nuts not having a bike. Hence the reason its almost certain that my test rides tomorrow are going to see me walk away have paid a deposit/sorted finance on one of the bikes.
