Default Bike written off

I was knocked off my bike by a drunk driver at 3.30pm on Friday, smashed it to pieces and sent me sliding down the road. Spent yesterday in hospital.
I am gutted, only had my SV650 K2 for 1 month!
Was a lovely bike.

'Kin HECK mate!

Glad you're okay. I hope the driver gets crucified for that. With so much negative coverage these days, there's absolutely no excuse for drink driving.

chin up, eh?

you can hope all you want mate, but you won't get anything resembling justice...

she'll have her non-existant license suspended and a slap on the wrists

boils my fluids, i'm not one for violence at all but the type of person willing to jump in a car drunk is the type i'd happily educate with a 24" breaker bar

At least you had good gear on and your insurance will pay out regardless although will, I presume, affect your no claims.

Don't let it put you off and get back in the saddle as soon as you can.
