So annoyed, got up for work today only to discover its snowing and it pains to say this that I fell off on a shortcut road, that was ungritted!!!!!

So I now have a bent brake lever (both controls), and a bent mirror! at least its not my SV but an XBR500 hack tool!

Any one else had a disaster to work?

Yeah.........I arrived!

If it makes you feel any better, I was late to work this morning.

Not because of snow, but because I spent most of last night trying to make sure the engine wasn't going to fall out of my Ford Galaxy whilst it was on it's way to the garage this morning.

Combine that with the fact that next door have the builders in, and I've been leaving my bike with the steering lock off & have told the guys that if they need it moving, so long as they're careful, go for it.

So this morning I woke up, late, had to sort the car out, and when I got to the bike, it'd been moved. It'd been put in a corner, and bricks had been put all around it by the delivery driver. Also, it was now covered in brick dust.

Not a happy camper!

2 miles of untreated roads before finding a main road+
Living at the top of a hill+
Ever so slightly bald rear tyre (to be replaced at the end of the month)
= NO CHANCE
Couldnt use the car today as BabyJ had a funeral to go to
So Phoned in sick
