They're Eleri's dancing clogs. Beautifully made Welsh style by Trefor Owen from Criccieth, who unfortunately no longer makes them as he's retired.

The first pair The wife had were made by Trefor, He was based in Wath on Derne near Rotherham. Went and fetched them whilst I was on strike tback in the early 80s. Can remember thinking ' is this a good idea' at the time. They were over £40 then. The soles did not last long though. He did resole them but the fit was never quite the same - looked the part though. Saw a chap from Manchester way making clogs at a festval they looked good but cannot remember his name unfortunately. Hope your daughter sticks at it!

Both my twin daughters have been clogging since they were about 10. Always had clogs from Trefor, I think 2 or possibly 3 pairs each.

Yes, there is a youngish guy in England now making Welsh clogs. Trefor knows his name so I must ask him.

This is from the Blackberry Fair back in 2013. My girls are on at 8m.56s. They were just 11 then, so early days for them.
