Default favourite frith st moments

I was chuckling to myself this afternoon about some of the daft things I've seen at Frith on a Friday over the years.

My favourite has to be when a distinctive-looking bloke pulled up in a Clio (or something like that), all neon-lit and stereo blasting. He leant out the window, looked at us and casually said "Evening guys".

And 14 of us, with one voice, replied "Evening Elvis"

any others?

Who did the burnout right in front of the Indian restaurant, with the door open and filled the place with smoke.

The great ice delivery van getaway

Parked up outside Bar Italia, went round the back and inside to get his ice, and the van started rolling down the street. There followed a scene from the keystone cops where the waiters chased the van all shouting and yelling, and one hero managed to dive inside and pull the handbrake on.
The delivery man got out and carried on as if nothing had happened. Several of us clapped

Then there was the arrest of the drugs dealer by the plain clothes cops. They were after his mate as well, so handcuffed him to the lamppost and legged it off down the street in pursuit of the other one. I thought of saying something witty to him, but decided his sense of humour might not be too good at that current moment in time

That was Phil (Magoo), and they still haven't forgiven us .

For me? That sunny Frday night when most of the Massive left together, lined up two abreast in Frith St and then everyone revved up, popped their exhausts, and generally caused mayhem for thirty seconds or so. I remember the quote from an excited Sid Squid: "It's like Le Mans!". Bad, but good, if you see what I mean. Sadly, that has to stay in the past, as good behaviour is now the order of the day if we're to stay there.

Can anyone remember the "busker" bloke who used to "play" the traffic cone ??

And the evening that a young lady, p'ed as a newt, who decided to sit down opposite us, forgetting that she was "going comando"

The other one I can remember is when Mark got upset at somebody using his SV as a coffee table and threw the coffee into the street

I think I can remember 2 gixers (one blue, the other black) leaving a trail of rubber on the way to the Bridge too...
