water resistant - not waterproof! Its not fitted with any silicone seals. Water pressure at 50m would be incredible.

My guess is due to it not being fully submersible continuously that it's subject to a lower IP rating

It seems that it's waterproof to 50m, but by calling it water-resistant, they're getting out of any liability from it.

Well I would be concerned about having a wash with it on my wrist. But the wife is all ways moaning that when washing I splash water everywhere!

resistant to 50m is fine for most every day tasks, right up till you change the battery without replacing the seal, after that I'd avoid even doing the dishes with it on if it has any sentimental value.

Not wishing to over stress a point it has/had no seals. The design is such none could be fitted so Dax is right they are deliberately misleading us.

The latest- Meet sis and her family for a meal - On the way up a hill the car went into limp mode- no ECU light on. Son whose sense of smell is that of a sniffer dog said it smells as if it is fuel rich so disconnected the MAS for twenty odd miles no problem - reconnected it up and the car ran fine for thirty odd miles, so now don't know what caused it.

Last year I grew a variety of tomato called Sweet Millions from seed, which were fantastic. When I ordered my seed for this year Suttons did not have any in stock but they did have an option to order mega-plug plants for late April delivery.

They arrived today and are shockingly bad. Some genius must have despatched them just before the bank holiday as they've clearly been sat squashed in a sack in a depot for days. Almost dead, bone dry, leaves falling off, stems all yellow and twisted as the poor things tried to find light... Remind me never to order plants by post again!

If they survive I'll eat my greenhouse.

OVO again... THE WORST COMPANY AFTER SCOTTISH POWER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

i have a CREDIT meter on direct debit with 1/4 billing but they take..
standing charges daily
monthly billing

given the above can anyone tell me what the difference is between 1/4 billing and prepayment?

con artists of the first order.... time to go back to paper 1/4 billing.

Soldering. Hate it. I can't.

Always seems to me I need an extra hand, one to hold the wire, one to hold the iron, and one to feed the solder.

Grrrr.....
