I don't think he is. It's a lot more local to me when the sun's out!

Got some film developed, including a roll of home made redscale that I ran through the SRT 201 that Yoko sent me.

Interesting colours but I'm not sure redscale's for me. How did you get on with the SRT?
I was out at the coast recently but didn't manage to finish either of the two colour films that are in a seemingly endless mid roll.

Got on fine, its just a shame it didn't have a split focus screen.

I did, sadly the lens has fungus and I'm unable to get far enough into the lens to clean it.

Not shot anything in ages, don't know why. My Pentax K2 doesn't have a split circle but because I'm a detail freak I think i often spend too long trying to match the halves, so by not doing so I have to just shoot at some point. On the other hand, sometimes it's just difficult finding focus.

Madeira removed all covid entry restrictions last week. No need for tests, certificates or registering locally any more so it seemed like a good idea to go.
And I found a camera museum in Funchal already. Not been yet but will probably drop in later this week.
Brought the XD5.
20 degrees and loads of bikes buzzing round the city.

Nice! I haven't been abroad since 2016 and really looking forward to getting away. Need to get my passport renewed first though.
