bought this 06 SV650 from impound Need diagnostic help. - SV650.org

So I got this SV650 with this custom tail piece and a Undertale exhaust the only problem is the rear box for the ECU and main fuses was removed. The injectors wont fire I thought it was a wiring problem as the main injector harness had non-oem tape on it so I ordered a new one while I'm waiting for it to arrive I thought I would ask around if anyone had any other ides as to why the injectors wont fire cause before I looked the VIN up I didn't know what a sv650 was to me it looked like a weird gxsr. The photo is the custom Undertale exhaust. Any help is appreciated plz don't judge still debating if it would be worth it to get the stock exhaust and a new rear frame.

Hallo and welcome along. Looks like you've just bought yourself a bit of a project there. I think standard exhaust and rear subframe is the way to go there.
Have you put the fuse box and ecu back in place now?

unfortunately the area they all sit in was deleted by the previous owner when he did the modifications no clue why as there's plenty of room still for it but my main concern is getting it running as I have only got it started on ether before it dies. I did some google searches and it says the injector problem could be the ECU it does have a code on the gauge cluster that says F1 of FI no clue all I know is that code is for the injector system

I would have thought that the fact that the ecu is not present is why it won't run to be honest. I have a curvy SV so, carbs and a CDI unit rather than an ecu so I can't be 100% about this, but I would say that an ecu is essential to the running of a Gen 2 SV model.

though I cant complain mush as I only paid 120 dollar's or 102 Euro's for it. it was a package deal a 2001 Kawasaki ZX-6 the SV650 and a 2005 Yamaha R6. In total for all 3 bikes it was like 500 dollar's or 425 Euro's

I also get the fun of fuel injection as I'm 5000ft 1630m above sea level (wrong measurement)

It does have the ecu I think its not grounded as its held on by zipties

Hopefully someone with more knowledge about injected SVs than me will have a few answers. Looking forward to seeing your progress on it though. Keep us up to date with it.
