Default Rear linkage bearings

One of mine bit the dust. Metal to metal, rust to rust, RIP etc. etc.

Was front one that connects to frame, stock is 27 x 20 x 30

Sleeve in middle was OK, replaced it with a 27x20x25 needle roller, £7 and local bearing guy has them as standard part. And 20x3 O ring each end. Seems to work fine.

Will tear it down in 5k or so and see how well the O rings cope compared to the standard built in seals.

How many miles is that?

Mine were ok last time I checked at about 30k.

45-50k something like that.
I bet they would still be fine now but when I got the bike at 13k they were rusty. Lubed every 10k since.

One advantage I guess of owning from new.

Yes, funny rest of bike was very clean when I got it. I bet the c*ckweasel previous owner owned a jetwash.

Another advantage of never cleaning, it may be filthy but it's very nicely lubed underneath!
