Disapointed with the latest Star Wars, too long, even my daughter thought the same

However I thoroughly enjoyed this

Went to see Dunkirk when it came out. Very disappointed. Disjointed, loud, no characterisation. All the main infantry characters shown as cowardly chancers. Also the opening sequence was factually incorrect. Altogether a disgrace.

This in now way represents my dads experience who was evacuated by a small boat from the dunes.

Not films but just bought all three series on DVD of The League of Gentlemen. Working our way through all the episodes with my daughters. Very dark humour and gets more surreal with each episode. Only on episode two and so far we've had murder, incest, and cannibalism amongst other things!
I'd forgotten how good these shows were.

Blade Runner.... There's 2hrs 43mins of my life I won't get back. Not impressed. Maybe even worse than Dunkirk...

The Darkest Hour. I thought it was excellent. It may not be 100% accurate, but it was very involving.

Early Man - another instant classic from Aardman & Nick Park, have loved their work since primary school days watching Morph on TV with the late Tony Hart. Top-notch cast of voices. Not a lot of entertainment around now that three generations of the same family can enjoy together.

Yeah I'm looking forward to that. Been a Nick Park fan since wallace and grommit when I was a kid. I've been watching a few youtube videos showing how they have developed their model methods over the years. I love stop motion stuff
