What do people run them at for trackdays?

5 - 6 psi under what you would on the road.

There will probably be a tyre man there aswell to give you advice on the day so its more specific to track temps and weather on the day.

I've taken to running my Metzler Rennsport Roads at 30 psi front and back when out on track, seem to work pretty well.

And the front one higher?!

29R 31F on the CBR600, which has the same tyres sizes as the SV650S I also own. If I was to take the SV on track I'd run the same pressures. I run Rennsport road compounds at the moment, but soon changing to a Bridgestone slick front and Rennsport RS2 race compound rear at the same pressures as before.

The CBR handles beautiully as it is, hopefully the new tyres and Maxton shock will make it even better.

I use 30/30 forgot to pump them back up after the last trackday and it didn't handle much different on public roads. Also forgot to put my numberplate back on for the 5 mile trip to the petrol station at lunchtime

We rode ours with 32 front and back (cbr600 and zx6r), but then we're in the numpty novice group.

i started off with 33 front 31 rear on the curvy, then checked the hot pressures after the first couple of sessions and adjusted so they were 36 front and rear.

It was stonking hot today at Croft, my mate had to let his rear down even further, god damn that moist Nordschleife air.
