thinking of taking a day trip up there and plan to be there for T time. so where is the best place to get fed?

Expensive as **** though. Was there 2 weeks ago and left without eating as we wouldn't have got change out of £50 for lunch.

No specific lunch menu, so if you want a cheap lunch it's not ideal.
If you want a great lunch, in a cool wee pub then it's a must.
You shouldn't go to Applecross and not eat at the Applecross Inn. Simples!

Whilst I agree with some points, £50 for a pub lunch is still ridiculous.

It's not a fancy gastro-pub or celebrity owned or whatever. It's a boozer, no more no less. Admittedly it sells (what looked like) amazing grub, but I work in London a lot and £50 for lunch is even pricey down there.

Most of the mains are £15 or greater and I doubt they'll do steak n kidney as almost everything's seafood.

while i like seafood the last ting i want to eat while on a bike is that.

i would rather have a chippy.

hhhmmm looks like the inn is the only place.. oohh well might make it sky instead or wait till i get back down to cluanie inn which i know is cheep and good.
