Default Variable speed limit M25

Do the variable speed limit camera on the M25 actually take pics

Got a little carried away following so other bikes filtering under the 40mph restriction

Has anyone been done by the cameras before?

10 years ago you could see them twinkling away in the evening as they took pictures, but they have changed the technology - infra red flashes I think.

Hmmmm maybe they have not changed them all then

A couple of months back going between 15 and 16, I saw the camera on the opposite side do the double flash as a rather fast moving car went through.

After running from J15 to J9 on a daily basis I feel confident to give a bit of advice here....

Between the A3 and M3 (J10-J12) almost (but not all) gantry's have cameras, so no more that 10mph over the posted limit max. From the M3 to the M4 (J15) I have only seen 1 camera.

I commute everyday and see cars zoom through at 80 and above so my guess is that a lot of them are not activated.
