Default valve clearances

Just opened up the bike to check valve clearances at 24000 kms.
Now all but one inlet-valves where between 0.10mm en 0.15mm. Can't be more specific cause feeler gauge resolution is 0.05mm. One inlet valve was between 0.15-0.20.
all outlet valves but one where between 0.20 - 0.25. Left outlet valve of front cylinder could hardly have 0.20 shoved between, but it did.
Coward as I am I decided to close front cylinder up because it was "within spec".
I wonder if it wouldn't have been better to loosen up that one valve by 1 shim-size
I think I will check the front again within 12000 kms or so.
What do you all think?
