miles per tank
Hi every1 - I am currently getting 101 miles per full tank costing around £11.00 from empty
How much is every1 getting on the pointy model Also how many miles will i go when the petrol light is on?? Many thanks Ray |

Since you asked how many miles you can go on reserve, I assume you mean that you get 101 miles to reserve and not to empty.
101 is a perfectly acceptable mileage. Depending on how much I'm thrashing it I get somewhere between 80 and 120 to reserve. I've had a further 60 miles off of the reserve but I wouldn't push beyond 30 miles. I think on the K3-4 the reserve is 5 litres. K5 is different again. Btw, for curvy owners, there isn't any point in you posting what you get cos your reserves are different as well as the size. |

i normally get 110 miles from 12 quids worth but driving carfully i had upto 160 (using lots of reserve) and on summer thrashes it about 90.

Mines does 160-165 then reserve light comes on (is very consistent)
Have run 20 miles a couple of times on reserve |

On average and combo city/hiway riding 150-156 miles before the reserve light comes on. That leaves me with 1 1/2 yankee gallons to fined a petrol station. I average approx. 50mpg X 4.5 yankee gallons = 225 miles to an empy tank. Very, very good range with the SV650!
