Forks
Today, i decided that it was time to do my forks. So off i went to my mates garidge init, where he has an engine hoist. This make life sooooo easy when doing this Job.
Anyway, the point. I refiled the forks with 10w oil (Std weight oil) and its amazing the difference fresh oil makes. They are a lot more complaint, and not so 'bouncy' What with this and the single rate springs that i installed a while back, the front end feels much better. Well worth doing. I also replaced the fork seals and dust caps. While they where off, i done the polishing thing. Not with a polishing wheel, oh no no no, i dont it the hard way. Wet n Dry, scotchbrite, and then T cut. No more corrosion for me...well, the next owner. me, well im shattered now |

Viney... I'm curious. You've done so much to the bike, and yet you'd not sorted out the front end? Are you mental?
