Wanting to do much more exploring of the Dales this summer - I've been once so far, and that was in the car - Always seem to end up in Derbyshire/Lincolnshire or Sherburn or towards Cat and Fiddle!!

So will keep watching on here for more routes - will experiment with some of TonyS's routes.

I've re-edited most of them, as Google Maps altered all my routes and messed them up.

Here's one we did a bit back.

Starts near Cltheroe, up through Settle and dales, round to the Bridge onto an ice cream/cake stop (fantastic btw) then onto Kirkham way.

With such a beautiful day, we had to go and enjoy a ride. And what a ride, Newcastle to the Scottish Border through the A696 and back on the A697.

Mine is . York (Home) up the B1363 to Helmsley market place for a cuppa chat with other bikers, Up the B1257 to Stokesley join the A173 to join the A171 towards Whitby passing Scaling Dam.
Whitby park outside Railway Station bikers meeting point, cuppa and Fish'nChips. When you recovered from that use A169 over moors back to Pickering then onto A170 back to Helmsley and return home via B1363.
B1257 is favourite Police speeding check area, as is the A169 near Fylingdales.
