Default Rockingham Aug 22/23

Anyone planning on going to this? I'm 90% of the way to signing myself up for one or both days -thinking of bringing the SV and the KTM if they'll let me swap back and forth.

HotTrax. £119 each day and looks like availability is good in all groups -although Sunday says "Just 2 groups which run alongside our Superbike School". Maybe a chance to pick up some of their tips through osmosis? I think I'll go novice and see how I get on- I don't mind ragging the KTM (it's track only), but don't wanna chuck my SV away trying to keep up in faster groups when I've not yet had a chance to ride it remotely fast to see what it feels like.

I can't make this, but on a side note, i'm sure you can swap between bikes as it's the rider that has booked on not the bike. You may need a new sticker for a different bike though.

Worth phoning up to check though.

Well I'm booked. It'll only be the SV, as the KTM has been stolen, but better one bike on the track than none

I thought hottrax used to have an option at the checkout to add an extra bike for £10.....I cant see it now so I may be thinking of a different organiser.

stuff paying an extra £10 for that, just carefully remove the stickers from one bike and transfer them onto the other one. i did this after my crash at snetterton on the blade (i have no idea if i was supposed to pay for another bike) and didn't have any trouble. just went and got the sv noise tested and off i went

No leads yet from the police, but they're making a good effort I think. I thought I heard the KTM being ridden nearby last night but by the time I'd got in the truck to go look they had shut it down, so was difficult to pinpoint exactly where.

So anyone else from here going to this? I'm there on Saturday -bike is pretty easy to identify I think, and I'll be driving a dark green hilux surf to the track. Say hello if you spot me.

I've signed up for the novice group. I'd be chuffed if I get moved up, but I'm not holding my breath. It's been a long time since I was any good at hanging-off (I've gotten quite used to the SM foot-out thing), so I'm sure I'll be spendng the day just re-learning...
