Have you had it on a dyno?
What did you set the air screws to? |

I believe that the air screw really only affects tickover and maybe no throttle revs. |

More or less like this the different effects are. More info http://members.optusnet.com.au/sv650...ting_Notes.pdf http://www.factorypro.com/tech_tunin...m_engines.html After K&N + Leovince + Dynojet I referred to Oz Mick instructions and couple of other sources and was able to get the SV vorking OK. Now on spring i will take her to dyno for more accurate adjustment. Got this result http://www.moottoripyora.org/kuva-al...655%20copy.jpg |

The easiest way to know if it's running rich or not is to stick your nose in the exhaust when it's running. A strong smell of petrol will tell you all you need to know.

i think i might be ok, i cant smell any petrol. i thought it might be running rich as the dynojet instructions say that dj 144s for a full system and k&n and i am running 144s for a bmc road filter, raised tank and de baffles blue flame can.

If i remember correctly i have the biggest mains the DJ stage one kit has and air scres are 3 or 3,5 rounds open. Leovince SBK II without the noise killer.
Some times an occasional back firing when i ease the throttle, but seldom. |
