If it aint a bulb that's blown, or a dodgy earth, how bright are the lights?

If they're very bright, have a play around with resistors. Put it parralel to the bulb and you'll need two (one for each side). Bridge the +ve & -ve on your rear indicators. Should do the trick. If not, it's cost you 20p & some time.

Edit: I asked how bright they are because putting a resistor in will dim them!

They're ''Bike it, universal indicators'' -http://www.bikeit.co.uk/bikeit_06/images/indicators/INDUFLOVAL.jpg

They're as bright as the standard indicators and all the bulbs are in good working order.

I have the same problem and someone suggested that I change the flasher to a simple one as they believe that the one on the SV is some kind of "high tech"

any ideas?

Do a search for all terms using "indicators resistors" as the keywords

Its the otherway around, its a simple one that uses the resistance of the bulbs to control its switching rate, the more advanced ones can control the flashing internaly so there is no problem, but the increase in flash rate is usefull to know that the bulbs are blown.
