I spent three hours pottering around backroads North of Oxford on it. It was OK for that. Very nimble and easy to turn round when I got lost, as I did several times due to road closures galore for surfacing and not having a TomTom sitting above the clocks. The biggest downside was not having the guts to get by the dithering 40-everywhere morons...
Personally I think a 500 to 650 twin would be better. The dealer are not expecting to see the SV-7GX until "late summer".

Personally I tbink the only sub 500cc bike I would consider (and based purely on the reviews I've seen) would be one of Triumphs 400cc singles, probably the Speed 400.

Evening all. Fed up with:
1. Cold northerly winds and low temperatures. 2. Back pain. Overdid it with the gardening last Sunday afternoon and now paying the price for it. Hope everyone has had a better week!

Agreed on the weather Gary. We're playing russian roulette with the oil tank at the moment and the weather is not helping.
Hope your back recovers soon. |

We've had several hail storms over the last three days, and mild frosts! The tops on the early spuds look very unhappy and the heating is still coming on for at least part of the morning and evening. No fun at all.
