Accommodation - the lot
Not sure whether this is allowed or not (I've declared all sins & sorrows to the powers that be!), but here's the constantly updated list of all the hotels, B&B's that have been visited and endorsed as biker-friendly by our MotoGoLoco chaps.
Biker friendly accommodation in UK & Ireland I thought it might be handier to have one single thread with these in, rather than splattering & spamming any time someone's looking for somewhere. Cheers! JM |

Thought I'd dust off this old thread and plonk a link to the Map View version of our motorbike-friendly accommodation listings.
http://www.motogoloco.com/map More and more being added all the time, so if you don't see somewhere where you need it, give us a shout. |

While you are at AR might be worth having a quick look at the B&B we were meant to stay in, Boat Farm. The owner sounded very friendly, said she was happy to lock our bikes in the barn each night and was happy to welcome bikers.

Re: Accommodation - the lot
I know - we're workin' on it!
This page might help give a wee bit more info on why there's not a massive number of venues listed (yet) - but in short, we visit every single place before they're listed. We had too many horror stories of hotels/B&B's paying their listing fee to be on a bike-friendly directory (not ours, I might add), only to find that when you actually arrived on a bike, they had no idea where to put it, what to do with the pile of soaking wet kit you've got on or that you weren't 'actually' going to rape or pillage the place, just because you traveled on two wheels. The list is growing all the time, and if you've any suggestions of places we should visit - PLEASE send them in --> Recommend a bike-friend venue It might very well bag you a free trip away for your efforts... |
