Chelsea/England oh dear!

Well every year the World Cup tournament comes around we English always get rather bullish don't we? There have many who have sung the praises of John Terry,great defender etc,etc,blah,blah.

I have to admit that John love him or loathe him does perform very well normally for Chelsea but tonight in Barcelona my worst fears for an England defence were highlighted and big time.

Terry is a powerful figure who achieves more by his reading the game rather than his skill or speed. Plus he has that very outdated chest pumping B:S: that so many British football fans feel marks a star.


However he was undone and then some by 3 seconds of magic by Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho is not the most powerful of guys to look at him and when he received the ball on the edge of the Chelsea penalty area,one would have thought that there were enough defenders to subdue the threat? Sorry, wrong!

Terry attempted nothing more than a crude body charge and was left on his a*se as Ronaldinho rolled off the impact and slotted the ball home.

God help England if we have players with skill running at the likes of Terry close to our box in the World Cup.

i have to say peter thats possibly the biggest pile of toss i've ever seen you type!!

terry IS a good defender, he's faster than anybody gives him credit, his reading of the game is exempelary (sp!) and he was superb last night.

so let me get this right, you're slaughtering him on the genius/skill/call it what you will of the best player in the world? jeez you're one harsh critic!

but did you see his nice mrfalloverman impression for the penalty

again i take issue with that! he was trying to kick the ball, the barca player got in the way and terry kicked his foot, his momentum took him down. no way was he trying to get a penno nor did he dive! i agree it was no way a pen but it wasn't a dive either.

bliemy, you'd think i was a chelsea supporter wouldnt you !!

I agree with keithd, best defender in the premiership at the moment.

Anyway the biggest joke of the night was Didier dogpoo...the bloke is an embaressment to english football and to chelsea, he nearly cost chelsea a goal with his pathetic play acting again, cant remember which player it was but he touched the useless excuse of a centre forward in the chest and he goes down quicker than a cheap *****...holding his face, all while barcelona are mounting another attack....and who cleared the danger???...JT...say no more, the bloke is a legend.

And as for Jose saying that chelsea were the better team over 2 legs,i think he needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

And yes i do support chelsea

Anyway thats my rant over with...and if on the off chance Mr Mourinho owns a SV and he's reading this...please sell that hopeless idiot up front and stick with crespo n eidhur....many thanx

Mourinho is Cheleas biggest downfall, although he "can be" a fantastic Manager. He's got his head so far up his own backside that he's actually started to believe his own hype....

Jose, put your stupid antics to one side, get on with the football, and get rid of that plonker Drogba.....
