RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
Anyone have any thoughts on these?
I have leathers which I use for almost everything, but thinking of a pair of these for chucking on for the occasional summer morning trip to work and back. http://www.twowheel.co.uk/rst-kevlar...ans-black.html |

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
I have some RST kevlar jeans (not wax ones). Jeans a well made with lots of kevlar patches on the inside. Armour is OK but not great and the netting pouch it sits in is a bit poor. I upgraded the knee armour to forcefield. Since I bought my leathers have not worn jeans.

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
I've just ordered a pair, so will see what they are like when they arrive (can always send them back).
Problem I've been having is finding a pair that don't make me look like MC Hammer... If the RST's are not much cop, I might try a pair of Hood's. Not too worried about the armour as I plan to get some of the ones that strap to your leg. |

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
Have a look at sartso kevlar jeans, have a pair of illusions and they are a quality pair of jeans. Get better reviews than rst and hood too!

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
Got some Hood ones a couple of weeks back. Must admit they're pretty decent. The lining isn't Kevlar, it's paramid, which isn't quite so comfortable.

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
I've got some Kevlar jeans and have only worn them twice.
They don't offer the same level of protection and just don't "feel" safe. |

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
Well Knox me down with a feather. I'll have to look at those. The floppy armour in my textiles isn't too clever ad I don't trust it'd be where it's needed if the stuff hit the fan. Thanks.

Re: RST Kevlar Wax Jeans?
I'd say Draggin' Jeans do some great moto jeans : http://www.dragginjeans.net/
Not as cheap as others but they have good protection at knees AND hips. I've been eyeing the evo model, which looks to be quite decent protection-wise (as long as you tuck them in your boot when you ride so that they don't ride up when scraping against the asphalt). |
