Big skies there Darren, especially that first picture. The colours on the fungi really pop too in the fourth one. Nice pictures and it looked like a good evening for a ride.

Today I was in an exploring mood and found some interesting local places I never knew about!

Ardestie Earth House. I happened to stop in a layby at the side of the road and noticed a path leading to a fenced off area in the middle of a farmer's field. Strange! So I had a look and found this

Not interesting, just a random field picture

Found a quarry. You can just see a car coming in to investigate what I was doing there

Found a war memorial I didn't know about

With a good view

Saw this from far away and it looked like someone had built a castle with crenellations. I really wanted to climb on top of it

This guy ran across the road in front of me from a golf course

Then in the evening I walked up a local hill to watch the sunset
It doesn't look steep in the picture, but it is

Some nice shots there Darren. I think you have the same mindset as me, combine a ride with photography trip. Combine your hobbies.

Heres a couple of mine from a ride yesterday down to Stokesay Castle in south shropshire. Taken with a drone as I'm not actuall that tall.
