Had a conference/workshop at Penygroes just south of Caernarfon today. A nice day so went there and back on the bike.

I had to go into Welshpool today so I took the long way back home and explored a couple of lanes (goat tracks!) which I had never been along before. Some very nice soft scenery and undulating landscapes.

A ride across to Elan Valley, Devil's Bridge, Nant y Moch, Tal y Bont, and Aberystwyth, with nephew Mike. Fab day of riding.
The water in all the reservoirs was probably as low as I have ever seen it.       The absolute desolation of the old Cwmystwyth metal mines.  Hafod Arch.  Nant y Moch reservoir.

It was fine as long as we were moving John. We couldn't get jackets and lids off fast enough when we stopped. I was a smelly, sweaty mess when I got home!
