Clip ons
Hey all
im looking at getting some clip ons handle bars for my 2000 sv650, i just want to know if they will fit with the petrol tank or do in need to change the tank. The normal bars are just too high on track.thanks |

Re: Clip ons
With race clip-ons, your problem is not the tank, it is the side faring clearance!!
If you simply want to lower the bars, you can do that with stock ones (I take it you have an SVS?), just undo the retaining bolt on the underside of the top yoke, loosen the clipon clamp bolt and then slide the clipons down. EDIT: ... on second read, you mean fitting SVS bars to your SVN right?? In which case, I don't think you will have any problems at all Last edited by Blue_SV650S; 24-03-08 at 02:09 PM. |

Re: Clip ons
I find flat bars on naked yoke give me the right level of control and comfort.
