Default It's good to be back home.

I just collected my 4th (not in a row) sv650s today after having a large number of 1000cc IL4 bikes.

Couple of points to note on coming back to an Sv.

-C oming from an gsxr-1000 and cbr929rr, this bike is SLOOOOWWW! It feels like it's restricted to 33bhp! I really can't get over the gap between what, 65bhp and 130bhp!
- The front end is very spongy
- The brakes are quite really quite dire
- Even the torque is not all that. More like "What torque?"
- It feels wrong to ride it above 5k.
- The seat height is so damn low, I feel like I giant riding it.

But you know what?

All those things above are good things.

I love it.

Much better than my previous blade for my style of riding.

I imagine the full akrapovic system has something to do with the large smile on my face though. I've not had that feeling in ages!
