LED indicator prob (and no it's not flashing too fast)
It's not bloody flashing at all With or without the resistors connected. I have tried plugging the LED into one of the tail light sockets and it works fine so I know its not broken, put the old indicator bulb back in and its fine so it isn’t the wiring. Am I missing something blatantly obvious??

try reversing the wires. diodes have polarity.

Take the resistors out of the equation completely and just try the wires both ways. i wouldn't have thought the LEDs in those flashers would be sensitive enough to blow with a reverse current, but it is possible.

No i dont think so either and putting it in the rear light was the last thing i tried to make sure it worked which it did.
