Crashed, now gear selection awkward.
hello stupidly came off my new sv 650 today came of on a left hand bend but now found i can only get a couple of gears is this a gearbox problem or can something be done without taking it to a garage thanks

maybe the gear selector is bent?

the lever that goes on the splined shaft was bent but now straightend but just wont go in to many of the gears if i am lucky this is the best i can explain thanks

Have you lost any oil in the accident? That can cause shifting problems.
