Sorry, it was proven incorrect and something I have been saying from the very beginning.

I think the RST are good, what DD is trying to say is the helemt test was flawed because the tests were not carried out in the same way on every helmet and the final results failed to match the initial results.

I was being flippant. I was just using it as a pointer really to reassure myself that a lid for under £30 including delivery wasn't going to be a dud. All of the lids have various safety approvals, just nice to have an extra check however flawed.

A lot of people slated my £69.99 Nitro helmet when I got it, but it did the job it was supposed to do for me.

We'll see what the other one is like.

Did you try it on?

Seemingly the biggest gauge of how well it will do in an off is how well it fits.

My new helmet should be here today. I'm like a little child before Christmas with excitement!

have had a cobra vent since july and found it to be very good, got it for about 89 quid then as i wanted something cheap and comfy but i found it to be pretty good. not too noisy, comfy not too bad for steaming up. Only problem so far was finding a tinted visor to fit it was tricky but i fond one eventually (with a little help from the org)

Only just saw this thread, Nobbylass has a Cobra Vent, thought we got it cheap at £60, but looks like you've got a great bargain!

She's very happy with it.

A mate of mine headbutted a kerb at about 80mph in a cheap nitro lid. He's still here and isn't any more retarded than he was before.

Ha, ha, ha....

It's true, just because it is cheap doesn't always mean it is cheaply made...
