Thanks Trev. I used a torch to light up the foreground, then the phone did some magic to see through the darkness across the water.

Sat on a log having a cup of tea on one of my walks in the hills here when I felt like I was being watched. Spooky faces in the tree!

There are three in this.

A closer look at the main one.

The zoom on my phone results in quite poor quality but there it is.

This one is harder to see until you know where to look. Look for the eyes halfway down the left side of the picture.

A couple of days late, but some pictures from my morning walk with Mabel on Friday.

A species of slime mould known as Brefeldia maxima (I think).

Waxcaps.

No colour enhancements used here - this is the colour they were.

If you are ever unsure about any plant life or whatever, there is a really useful app called Seek. Point your phone at said wildlife and it should identify it for you.

I've used that app before and it's pretty good. I'm currently using the Flora Incognita app for plants and Merlin for birds.
