I was up that way today

nearly cross bred my bike with a sheep who was casually strutting his furry ass across the road. I was going the speed limit at the time too

I was actually sticking to the speed limits after being shaken by a near miss with a prat who was on my side of the road on a blind corner just coming out of Quernmore.
Only just managed to swerve round him and miss the wall

Run down to the Harbour at Kirkcudbright. Saw loads of bikes on A75 when driving back home, so had to get the bike out and go a quick run down the coast. Took pictures on my new smartphone - HTC Desire - recommended!

From this weekend. Beautiful scenery in really bad lighting.

The Autumn sun is a terrible bright glaring thing here for most of the day this time of year.
Bright as a high intensity lamp in direct sunlight and near dark as night in the shade/shadows. Makes for lousy pics.

Overlooking the James River in Virginia. (pic #1)
Been passing this overlook on one of my favorite roads for years and never knew about it until this weekend when I happend to turn around there. Must go back in the spring for a better pic.

I'm not sure why one would build a dam in this way but looks almost surreal when being overflowed.

Along side the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Not too jealous. Some amazing scenery there. And you wont get much sympathy on here for having too much sun!!!
