hi there, my front and rear calipers are in need of a re-build as they are dragging a fair bit, ive ordered the re-build kits and was wondering if anyone local would be willing to help with it as ive never done one before! obviously i would travel to you and beer/wine would be provided!! I would really appreciate this so i dont mess it up!!
Many thanks Ash |

Re: help with caliper rebuild??
ah the joy of rebuilding brake calipers. I'm not local but would be happy to give you a hand - assuming you have some other form of transport to get to Oxford in as it's always best to have a back up plan incase you can't do it all in one go. Are the pistons siezed in? I'd recomend freeing them up and getting them almost all the way out before removing the calipers (so you can use the brake fluid to apply force rather than having to fanny about with compressed air).
