Exclamation Fuel Pump Problem

Struggling to get the fuel pump out of my K5 tank to fit into a new tank.
Anyone got any ideas ?

have u opened the fuel cap to release the pressure, daft but does help

yes pump was loose in tank but there was a white plastic part in the way stopping it from coming out.

Is there any dissassembly of pump required to get it out? Or is it just a case of wiggling it out in the correct manner?
