Anyone seen this feed:

It comes down the fact this hasn't been done before, the pressures and temperature at that depth are extreme. Divers just can't dive that far...If was as simple as using mole grips it would have been done by now.

If we want to countuie with current demand for oil then more risk and cost is going to be required to get at.

seems to be worse than yesterday..!

iv popped a cork in the post f.a.o BP CEO.

Hopefully he will get the point,

What amazes me is that they have permission to drill like this for oil because yes we need it, however there is NO back up plan when this stuff happens, well thats not quite true, there were two backup plans but both failed.

bind you they pay the money and take the risks I Guess.

It almost certainly wont affect them. The amount that is being lost here is a drop in the ocean (pun intended) compared to global output.
