Default Wiring loom query

Hi all,

I've been stripping out an alarm system and attempting to trace and connect a number of black wires. Sorted myself out with the SV650 K3 wiring diagram and traced them back to the only item on the diagram that has no name or obvious role. Anybody got a clue what it is? I'm assuming some sort of connector or terminal block that was removed from my loom before I got it.

Piccy attached. The item is on the bottom right hand corner of the wiring diagram.

Mike

actually there is no connector or terminal in harness.what you see in diagram is just bunch of ground wires tied together.

Thanks, but I've done some more detailed testing and I dont think thats the case. There may not be a connector there but one things for sure, they dont connect together.

Two of them do, and the other three are insulated from each other. Bike running fine now.

you right,I thought it just represents ground wires but after looking at diagram I believe this is resistor that 03 does not have.newer ones do.ceramic looking thing attached to left side of subframe under passenger seat.

Sorted, looked at a replacement loom and as thought it has an unused connector block, all the wires are isolated except two.
