Default Yet another pricing question!

Sorry to post yet another.. Is this a good price BUT!

Is this a good price?

168 Miles on the clock and Rear hugger, seat cover, lower fairing, double bubble black screen, alfa security markings, data tool alarm fitted. for around the £3k mark?

Any input would be appretiated,

Cheers Dan

Im not an expert on this at all as i dont even own an SV but from what i know about the price of them it sounds awfully cheap for all that stuff. I would be asking why the person is selling it for that price. Has it been crashed/dropped etc?

Yep that is a good price as i paid 4200 new last June for the same bike except i have had to add the cost of lowers, hugger, screen and seat cowl and that one has em all. Just be wary that it is pretty cheap!!

Is it straight? All paperwork in order?1st service done?Is it the owner selling it?Sounds a good deal if all is in order.Bear in mind if the first service was'nt done within (I think)six weeks there may be an issue with the warranty.Still a good deal though.

I could be wrong on that six weeks for the first service. It could be six months, but it will be in the Suzuki bumph somewhere.

Whats wrong with it. For a K5 with 168 miles on it, why's it being sold ?

First thing I would do is ask the seller a few questions and also do a HPI check on it.

IIRC from what Liz said that the first servce is after 600 miles I dont think theres a time limit on it.

If the bike is straight no damage and the HPI check comes back all clear then I would say thats a very good price IMHO

Thanks for the info. IS the first service free with Suzuki? I'll run a HPI check before I part with any cash. I think he just needs cash as he has a baby on the way.

Depends on the dealer as to whether the first service is free I would think.

So hes selling it cheap to get a quick sale ? OK that seems fair enough, to me it seems to good to be true though.

Thats what I thought but its not that far from me to check it out just in case. Is warranty transferable? Just asking as if the HPI is clear and anything niggly goes wrong I'll have something to fall back on?
