Matter of taste though isn't it? A couple of guys on SV Rider have the 180 rear on carbed SVs and IMO it looks excellent, gives the rear end a solidity it lacks usually.
Billy, if I stir my lazy a&(^ this evening to start looking into what's needed to fit the thing, I'll check out the stamping on the spokes. It's much like the SV's- 17x5.5, Asahitec, there's a DOT code- one of the Oldschoolsuzuki boys told me the markings are the same as a SRAD 600 even though the wheels are different, common cause of irritation to the GSXR1100 guys. Rob, if those'll fit a 1200 then I'll make a home for a 46 toother, if you have one I think 600 and 1200 hole spacings are different though... At least, they have different part #s with most atermarket places. Bandit 12s use the same hub design as the oil-boiler GSXRs.

I have the folowing sprockets:-
221-520-42HA 221-520-45HA 221-520-46HA The 42 and 45 have been used but very little with only the anodising rubbed off, unfortuantely the 46 is pretty worn and starting to hook (ok if your chains over half life, could fit a complete set when u/s) They have to go as a job-lot so make me an offer |

Which bike you got sv650s_guy? I looked at fitting a 600 arm into mine,m but the offset shock passes through one of the arms on every one I looked into. Bit of a sod, since the SRAD 600 shock would be a very simple fit otherwise

"It can handle" It's a Valkyrie 1500, it couldn't handle with Rennsports on. "extreme cornering", my word. He seriously seems to think that todays tyres are no different than ones 25 years ago. You have to work very hard to be that ignorant.
But, if all you do is long distance touring- which is what he blatantly does, despite his delusion that he's a hard-cornering bike-abuser, since he got 21,0000 miles out of his front Avon- then i suppose it's not neccesarily such a bad idea... Vive la differance. Just don't try to convince anyone that it's better. Anyway. Rant off

TLR/GSXR1100
I'm finding it hard to sorce a bandit 1200 rear wheel at the right price. Is the TLR or GSXR1100 rear the same as the bandit? are the hubs the same?

TLR is the same as the SRAD GSXR 750s, it's a 6" incher and the hubs are too wide to fit without machining. I think, though don't quote me, that all the GSXR1100 wheels have curved spokes. Other than that they're very similiar, if not interchangable with, the Bandit. This is what 21 Quest used, and there's a how-to on the main site (or perhaps on SV Rider)
RF900 used the same wheel, mine actually is an RF, I just call it B12 for clarity. But RF600 isn't.

SRAD 60/750 are different If it's 5.5" it's a 600, if it's 6" it's a 700. Tend to fetch a decent price on Ebay too, might be worth a crack.
