Stu, did you go over to Ripley this morning? I was going to, but the weather was too grim for me!

Also saw the post above about Ripley, might have a ganders one morning as I enjoy getting out and involved with all skill levels. I won't be as experienced as some of you lot having ridden for around 3 years now, but I have been privvy to a selection of specialist training which I would like to be able to pass on to assist others to be safer, smoother and progress where possible.
I forgot about this post - you sure I haven't already met you

I attend the WVAM last night - thanks to the advice of Stu!

Really good bunch of people and I learned a fair amount just in that one session, so I'll hopefully be attending the next observed run in September

Hi all. Hopefully a relevant note. I had an Enhanced Rider Scheme session out of Woking Yamaha a couple of weeks ago. The guy wasn't impressed with my race up to the lights, break, wait, then fast out of the blocks approach, but I learnt a lot and will go back for another session next month. £60 for a 1-1, 2 hour session, with Helmet mics etc. If anyone's thinking about it, I'd recommend it.

Deffo a good thing to do' been riding 12yrs and about 2 months ago went to a TVAM meet for a free observed ride, with a flea in my ear from the observer, numerous rides with Mark_h and watching some Twist of The Wrist on you tube my riding has got a lot less ragged and it does make you smile, they point out things that you will think " well that's obvious why have I not been doing this all the long" but don't take it as criticism, but as advice and you'll be surprised!

Default Advanced Riding Courses

If you want to do the IAM, you have TVAM in Wokingham which will be your nearest group.

Highly recommend tvam. They meet on the third sunday of every month, i will be going this sunday if you want to tag along. Youll get a free assessment ride which is well worth it to see if the club is for you. Newbies are very welcome and you will be far from alone, theres often 10-20 new starters each month
